Buchanan Family I worked with Jimmy on the Chip seal crew for some years, he could have been a stand-up comedian like one of the "greats" that said he was one of the "greats" I had the privilege to have known him.

I am deeply saddened by the passing of my nephew, Jim. He was a wonderful, loving father and family man, hard-working and full of warmth and charisma. Over the years, we made many memories together. My favourite memory is from traveling on the bus to Bangor, along with Connie and Twyla to find Twyla a prom dress. We had so many laughs along the way, and it was a great bonding time for all of us. I’ll never forget the strength and resilience Jim showed after his diagnosis and during his time in the hospital. Despite the challenges he faced, he remained optimistic, kind and gracious, inspiring everyone around him with his positive attitude. Even in the toughest moments, he continued to lift others up. It was truly amazing to witness his energetic spirit during such a difficult time. Your signature smile and infectious laugh will be greatly missed. Sending heartfelt condolences to Jim's family. I met Jim when he worked for Crosswinds at Sussex Recycling. We would do a yearly fundraiser of parking cars at the giant flea market. Throughout the field you would hear " park them tight, Jimmy!" I agree with so many, Jim was ready for a chat and greeted you with a grin every time. The last time we chatted, he had said he wished he had gotten to Crosswinds for a visit. Unfortunately, that didn't happen. Thoughts are with the family at this difficult time!

My condolences to Jim’s family, friends and all who loved him. Besides being a good athlete who pitched well and continued into his fifties, Jim was a gentleman who showed interest in all whom he encountered and always gave time and interest to them and their lives. I couldn't begin to say enough good about Jim Definatly one of my favorite people out side of my family I played ball with Jim and his family.
