It's been over 40 years since I last saw my friend Stephen. I met him at Penobsquis School, Grade 2. We then went to Sussex Elementary where we were together for grades 3, 5 and 6, Grade 4 as well I think. Through these times we were always catching frogs, bullfrogs, turtles, salamanders and gardersnakes. We would spend hours doing so. Up to our crotches in the swamp. It was great fun. I remember Stephen as a small, kind of shy boy who was also very funny who loved to joke and adventurous. He was also a very good friend and "big brother" to our mutual friend Anne. I will never forget Stephen and was so looking forward to seeing him again. To talk about our childhood adventures and the things we went through together. Unfortunately I was unable to when I was there in 99-05 or my trip in 2018 from Calgary. I will never know if Stephen remembered or cared about me like I did and do for him but I think and pray he did. Either way I miss and love my little buddy. If at all possible, please show more pictures of Stephen for me and others to enjoy. Thank you so much and God bless you all.
Steve and I worked together all through the nineties, he was a really great guy, always easy going and funny. My condolences to you all, a truly good soul gone too soon.

Nicole, Rick & family, I was so saddened to hear of Stephen’s passing. I will always remember how kind and friendly he was. Please accept my deepest condolences, my thoughts are with you all during this time of remembrance and loss.

I worked with Stephen at DOT back in the day. He was lots of fun he called my dog " flakes of Specky" as in "ham".
We also did a guard rail inspection together taking pictures of damaged rails which was the best time.
Great fellow to work with if you like to laugh!

I am sorry for the loss you are experiencing with Stephen's passing.
I worked with both Stephen and Nicky at DTI. I always found Stephen to be friendly and willing and able to strike up a conversation on many subjects and had an interest and knowledge in a variety of topics.
Please know you are in my thoughts as you grieve the loss of Stephen.

Whenever we would be on an outing and run into Stephen, it would instantly become a visit. Everything from reminiscing about our shenanigans as kids to the news and views of today and how we live. The laughs were plenty. When he spoke of each and every one of you you could see his eyes light up and that beautiful smile would grow even larger. Family was truly everything to him.
What a beautiful soul.
