I am so so sad to hear this! I’ve known Karen all my life. From variety shows at the elementary school to dances at the old rink. Our love of balloons. And so many memories. Karen I’m going to play tie a yellow ribbon round the old oak tree for you on my music list. I still think of you every time I hear it. And smoking in the boys rooms too! Sleep well my sweet friend. You’ll be missed.

To the Munroe family,
I extend my condolences to you all on Karen's passing. Our friendship goes away back to the 1970's and our time as neighbours on Court Street.
I know Karen faced many health issues over the years but whenever our paths would cross she always put forth a brave face and showed great courage in facing the challenges before her.
May she now be reunited with Darrell and live a life full of fun and good health.
