On March 17th 2026, Margery Hay passed away peacefully at home with her family by her side.
Margery was born on December 29th 1934 in Williamsburg, New Brunswick she was the daughter of the late Douglas and Blanche (Clarkson) Dorcas.
Margery and Ernest were married on February 25th, 1956, they enjoyed 62 busy years together and raised five wonderful children.
Margery will live on in the hearts of her children: Kevin (Karen), Larry (Sandra), Tina (Les) and Stuart (Wendy); her son in law, Ken Polley; her grandchildren Meranda, Kyle (Michelle), Eric (Danielle), Nathaniel (Brittany), Jarret, Trevor, Christopher (Amanda), Matthew (Melanie), Rachel (Kris), Brittany (Collin) Damian, Cameron and Adrian; her great grandchildren: Brandon, Hayden, Cohen, Clara, Hudson, Harper, Eliott, Tessa and Gracie.
Along with her parents, she is predeceased by her loving husband Ernest; her daughter, Lorraine Polley; her grandson, Adam and by her siblings: Bill, Keith, Gordon, Marion, and Ina; her brothers-in-law: Merle and Walter; her sisters-in-law: Leona, Donna and Charlotte.
The family would like to express their deepest thanks to the extramural nurses and home care workers for their excellent care and to Wayne and Marilyn Foran for all you have done for our family.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex NB (506-433-1176). In keeping with Margery's wishes there will be no service.
The interment will take place in Trinity Cemetery Sussex Corner, NB at a later date.
