Obituary of Jim Davis
It is with sadness the family of James (Jim) William Davis announces his passing which occurred on Monday, January 3, 2022, at the Sussex Health Centre, Sussex, at the age of 73. He was born in Annapolis Royal, NS on September 15, 1948, a son of the late Alvin & Leona (Garron) Davis.
He is survived by his partner, Flora Price, of Sussex, NB; his sons, Ryan (Jane) Davis of Riverview, NB, and Troy (Tanya) Davis of Aubrey, Texas, and his daughter, Lori (Mike) Cameron of Rothesay, NB. Jim is also survived by his spouse Flora’s children: Paul Kelly and his partner, Terry, of Sussex, NB, Allan (Angela) Price of Sussex, NB, Amanda Crealock of Sussex Corner, NB, and Rebecca (Jody) Stewart of Havelock, NB; his brothers, Arnold Davis of Nova Scotia, Donnie Davis of Nova Scotia, and Robert Davis of Sussex, NB; his sisters, Connie Buchanan of Hillsdale, NB, Marion (Steve) Lamb of Sussex Corner, NB, Janet (Calvin) Fenwick of Plumweseep, NB, Patricia Palmer of Millville, NB, and Morleena of Malta, Italy; his sisters-in-law, Rose Davis and Gladys Garron; his grandchildren, Brandon (Sheyenne) Davis, Luke Davis, Danielle (Sean) Davis, Leah Davis, Ryan Cameron, and Jared Cameron; Flora’s grandchildren, Sean Kelly, Allie Kelly, Connor Stewart, Jackson Stewart, Lincoln Stewart, Wyatt Stewart, James Price, Ella Price, Winter Price, and Emma Crealock, as well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Besides his parents, Jim was predeceased by his wife, Debbie, his brothers, Douglas Davis and Alvin Davis Jr.; his brothers-in-law, Reginald Palmer, Arlie Gagnon, and Morris Buchanan; his sisters, Dorothy Ganong and Eileen Young; his half-brother, Leonard Garron; and his grandson, James Davis (twin brother to Leah).
Arrangements have been entrusted to Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, NB (506-433-1176) and will be held privately at this time. Interment will take place in the spring at Evergreen Cemetery, Sussex.
