Dear Nancy and Sandra and your families. Marjorie was very dear to me and I spent many a time have "tea" in her home. She was a wonderful caring person and loved by all. I know you will miss her and her bright smile. Jackie was another favorite of mine and I miss him as well, he was an adopted cousin as from the time of a young girl I was instructed to call his mother and father aunt and uncle. I spent a lot of time at their home also. I am thankful for the care they gave my brother as a young boy, and I know he appreciated it as well.. So sad to hear of Marjorie’s passing. She and Jack were my favourite couple , it was so fun whenever they were around. When Elizabeth my older sister was getting married to Edwin and I was making the bulletin. We thought of them Marjorie and Jack for the flower girl and ring barrier. So we asked them to do it and Marjorie said no lol then I pointed out it was in the bulletin and she laughed and agreed. It made us so happy as Marjorie and Jack looked after us from time to time in the summers when we were very young . To the point I called Jack dad at one point where one of the girls said he was not my dad.

Your mom said often that Bill was her #1 son and while he was there she treated him as such .

I will always remember the fun times and laughs that were shared as members of The Golden Girls Club.
