Didn't realize this til today. Just spoke with him a few weeks ago. I'm saddened to hear about the loss of David. He was such a great man and community leader, spearheading the Kiwanis Action club, which is, I'm sure, just one of his many accomplishments for this community. David, to me, epitomized humble and kind. He'll be sadly missed.

Married to his sister, I was David’s brother-in-law from 1964 to 1983. David and his family were always loving and kind. They accommodated me graciously. I use the word “accommodated” because when I was twenty I knew everything! David was a lot like an older brother to me, and was always my friend. He was wise, but always quick to laugh, warm, but serious when necessary. And Joyce was his wonderful and fun-loving partner. My kids adored them! God bless you, my friend.
