Obituary of George Dykeman
It is with heavy hearts that the family of George Edward Dykeman announce his passing the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital, Fredericton, NB on March 26, 2025 at the age of 87.
Born in Saint John, NB on November 15, 1937; he was the son of the late George and Della (Astles) Dykeman.
George was a jack of all trades and loved working with his hands. He was a wonderful carpenter, cabinet maker and plumber and in his later working years worked side by side with Isabel traveling for sales.
He will live on in the hearts of his beloved wife of 66 years, Isabel (Dickson) of Fredericton; their children: Randy of Norton, Gary and his wife Denise Hebbes of Guelph, ON, Mike and his wife Sharon of Calgary, AB and Tom and his wife Janet of Oromocto; his sister, Betty McKellar of Oakville, ON; his brother, Bob and his wife Lyn of Renfrew, ON; his sister-in-law, Gayle Dykeman of Oakville, ON; his grandchildren: Meghan (Alex), Jeffrey (Jacqueline), Kashena (Steve), Seth (Lucy) and Cole; his great grandchildren: Hazel, Newman, Mabel and Gracie; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Along with his parents, he is predeceased by his son, Ron; his brother, Les and by his sister, Shirley Clancy.
