Obituary of Dianne Tabor

It is with deep sadness that the family of Dianne Eileen Tabor announce her passing, which occurred at her home in Hillsdale on May 15, 2025. Born in Saint John, NB on February 12, 1947, she was the daughter of the late Leonard and Greta (Laird) Stevens.

Dianne loved her home in the country where, if she was not busily working on her current knitting project, she was joyfully immersed in  her puzzle books.

Dianne is survived by her loving husband, William of Hillsdale; her children: Tony Tabor of Thorsby, AB, Wendy MacLean (Scott) of Hillsdale, NB, Jamie Lynn Tabor (Rene) of Saint John, NB, and Carol Leady of Illinois; her grandchildren: Nick, Ann Marie, Joseph, William, Ryan, Michael, Cody, Kayden, and Ethan; her several great grandchildren; her siblings: Dale Stevens (Sheila) of Norton, NB, Lloyd Stevens of Belleisle, NB, Kenny Stevens of Petitcodiac, NB; and her special sister-in-law, Hilda Meehan. Dianne is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, Dianne was predeceased by her brothers: Douglas, Gary, and David.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176) from where a visitation will be held on Monday, May 19 from 2-4; 6-8pm. A Celebration of Dianne’s life will be held from the Wallace Community Chapel on Tuesday, May 20 at 1:00pm. The service will be livestreamed for those who wish to view from afar.
