So shocked and saddened to hear of Laurie’s passing! We were not only good friends but also neighbors. We worked together at Zellers and over the years had much fun together.I was with her when her son Alan was born and babysat him when she returned to work. As you know Laurie and I were friends first in high school, then again at Zeller's and again when our paths crossed over the last 5 years. Oh my, it breaks my heart to read this. I remember fondly the happy times we played together as children in Penobsquis. Even though we didn’t spend time together as we grew older, it was always a big smile and a happy Hello when we did run into each other.
