Obituary of Audrey Price

With great sadness, the family of Audrey Ada Price announce her passing on Monday, June 16th at Orchard View Long Term Care with her family by her side.  Born on August 13th, 1936, she was the only daughter of the late Walter and Margaret (Crealock) Ward.

Audrey graduated from Belleisle Regional High School and went on to attend and graduate from Teacher's College in Fredericton and Mount Allison University.  After graduation, she taught Home Economics in Salisbury, Belleisle and Sussex.  In 1960 she married the love of her life, Bob Price.  She was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother.  To her, family was everything.  She enjoyed square dancing, playing cards, knitting and above all cooking.  She enjoyed reading cook books from front to back like we read novels.

She spent her final years living at Orchard View Long Term Care in Gagetown.  The family wishes to express our gratitude to all of the staff.  Your caring for her is greatly appreciated and she considered you her second family.

Audrey is survived by her son Don Price (Marlene) of Gagetown, daughter Shawney (Andrew) McLean of Ratter Corner; grandchildren Taylor (Garrett) Keirstead of Ratter Corner, Laurel (John Micheal) McDermott of Sussex Corner; great grandchildren Waylon McDermott and Ember Keirstead.

Besides her parents, Audrey was predeceased by her loving husband, Bob, and great grandchildren Raya and Miles Keirstead.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176) from where a visitation will be held on Thursday, June 19, 2025 from 2:00pm to 4:00pm and 6:00pm to 8:00pm. A celebration of Audrey's life will be held from Wallace Community Chapel on Friday June 20, 2025 at 2:00pm. A private graveside service will be held at a later date.
