Venesse Fournier

Obituary of Venesse Fournier

With deep regrets we must announce the passing of our daughter Venesse at 11:08 am on June 26, 2025 at the St John Hospital after battling pneumonia for two weeks. Although Venesse had Cerebral Palsy, she refused to be defeated by her affliction. Her bravery in overcoming obstacles that would crush normal people was a testament to her intelligence and strength. She managed to get a degree from St Thomas University and afterwards, she lived her life independently and on her own terms.

She is survived by her parents, Viateur (Vic) Fournier and Victoria Maclean; her two brothers: Ulric and Ian Fournier; Her sister, Laura Araneda along with numerous nieces and nephews.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176). A memorial will be held on July 2nd at the Timberland Motel at 1pm.

Donations and personal condolences to the family may be made through www.wallacefuneralhome.com

In Loving Memory of our dear friend V,

We lost a very good friend—someone whose strength, intelligence, and stubborn fire made her unforgettable. She fought hard for everything she had in life, never backing down from a challenge. In the end, though, even the strongest hearts need rest.

Gone but never forgotten, she will remain in our hearts forever. Her spirit lives on in every memory, every story, every laugh we shared.

Rest peacefully, Dear Friend.

Sandy, Cheryl, Becca, Sam and Melanie
