Obituary of Sean Grant
It is with deep sorrow that the family of Sean Grant announces his sudden passing on June 26, 2025.
Born on March 8, 1977 in Estevan, Saskatchewan, Sean moved with his family to Sussex, New Brunswick in 1983. He graduated from Sussex Regional High School and went on to study Virtual Reality and Graphic Design at NBCC Miramichi. Following his education, he completed a one-year contract as a Graphic Designer with the Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) in Gagetown. At the time of his passing, Sean was working as a Graphic Designer for a firm in Moncton, where he was respected for both his talent and professionalism.
Sean had the gentlest of souls. His presence brought joy, fun, and a boisterous laughter that will be unbearably missed. He was dearly loved, and his absence leaves an immeasurable void in our hearts. Above all, Sean adored his children — he loved them with the deep devotion of a father and the unwavering loyalty of a best friend. Their bond was truly special.
Sean is survived by his mother, Sue Grant of Sussex Corner; his father, David Grant of Winnipeg, Manitoba; his sister, Christina (Grant) Murray of Saint John, and his cherished niece, Callie Murray, whom he loved as his own; His beloved children: Noah Grant and Kenzie Grant, and their mother, Isabelle Grant.
He will be lovingly remembered by his aunt, Nancy Burdon; his uncle, John Lockett (Wendy), and cousins: Duane Burdon, Shelley Daigle, Jennifer Burdon, Albert Lockett, and Terry Lockett.
Sean was predeceased by his grandparents: Albert and Hattie Lockett and Daniel and Edna Grant.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176). As per the family’s wishes, there will be no visitation or service held.
