I enjoyed Jason as a student, as a parent in school and as a fellow skier. He was always so polite and had a huge smile. I was fortunate to get to know and work with Jay at the school from 2016-2018. We ran several courses together, and I learned so much from him in that short amount of time. He left a lasting impression on me, and helped me become better as an instructor and a leader. He was an outstanding instructor, soldier, leader, and more importantly an amazing person. I’m proud to have had the opportunity to work alongside him and to have shared many memories and lessons with him. He always spoke so highly of Renee and his daughters and you could tell they were the most important things to him and he was so proud. I send my most heartfelt condolences to all his family and friends - he will be missed. Rest in peace.

Heartfelt and sincere condolences to Renee and "the girls," as Jason so often referred to them. I had the privilege of working with Jason since 2010, in W Bty, AIG course, instructing, and beyond. He had a strong will and a sense of humor that will be deeply missed. Although we didn't always agree, he was always honest and never held a grudge. Jason would give you the shirt off his back and his honest opinion. His love for his family was unwavering, and his pride in them was evident. I hope he has found rest and peace. Our thoughts are with you Renee, Chantale & Chelsey... Jason was an extraordinary individual; his actions have made a lasting impact on many! Jason may not have always known the impact his actions made on the lives of the athletes he coached; but I can say without a doubt that there were two smiling faces at our dinner table when Jason was coaching the kids! Jason was caring, passionate about adventure and brought people together, whether that was on snow as coach or the PMRC board- always prepared to support and offer a helping hand, he will be missed greatly! My condolences to the family in this difficult time. I worked with Jason back when he started out in the military and never realized it, until we crossed paths almost 20 years later on a French course and was chatting about our careers. He loved to talk about his biking weekends or his ski adventures, or what the girls did on the weekend. It was a Monday morning highlight on that course, I think that is how we all got through the course. Until we meet again, Lloyd
