Obituary of Melissa McIntosh
With hearts full of sorrow, we announce the unexpected passing of Melissa (Rouse) McIntosh on July 25th, 2025.
Melissa was born on July 11th, 1976 in Panorama City, California; she was the daughter of Margaret Arlene (Fox) Rouse and the late Carl Rouse.
Melissa was a vibrant spirit whose kindness and compassion left a lasting impact on all who crossed her path.
She will live on in the hearts of her husband, Scott McIntosh of Moncton and her mother, Margaret Arlene Rouse of Penobsquis. Melissa will be deeply missed by her sisters: Debbie Cookson (Mike) of Kars, Carolyn Fullarton (Chris) of Windham, Maine, and Cindy McFarlane (Tony) of Waterford; And cherished by her nieces and nephew: Jessica Carhart (Jake) of Kingston, Matthew Cookson of Kars, Meghan Fullarton (Chris) Of South Plain Field, NJ, Brianne Fullarton (Storm) of Windham, ME and Samantha McFarlane of Waterford; as well as several aunts, uncles and cousins.
She also leaves behind her adored great nieces: Raelynn and Reese Carhart who brought her endless joy, along with her beloved Shih tzu's: Abby and Louie who were never far from her side.
Melissa was predeceased by her father, Carl Rouse with whom she shared a close and cherished bond.
Melissa was a beloved wife, daughter, sister, aunt and friend whose presence brought warmth and joy to everyone around her she will be remembered for her fierce love for family and unconditional love for animals.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176). A Celebration of Melissa’ s life will be held from the Wallace Community Chapel on Friday, August 1, 2025 at 11:00am.
