Obituary of John Joseph Arsenault

It is with deep sadness that the family of John “Jean” Joseph Arsenault announces his sudden passing on Thursday, October 9, 2025, at his home. Born in Jeneau Settlement, NB on April 21, 1941, John was the youngest son of Emile and Philomine (Babineau) Arsenault.

John was a proud and devoted member of the Jehovah’s Witnesses in Sussex.

John is survived by his children: Eugene Arsenault (Tracey) of Hillsdale, NB, John Arsenault of Brantford, ON, Jamie Arsenault (Lori) of Waterford, ON, Tim Arsenault (Deanna) of Cambridge, ON, Kevin Arsenault of Delhi, ON, Tiffany Aitken-Arsenault of Brantford, ON, Michelle Hitchcock (Stan) of Alberta and their mother Donna (Byron) Arsenault, Richer Arsenault, Eugene Arsenault, Beau Stuart, and Mike Arsenault and their mother Shirley (Stewart) Arsenault (predeceased). John is also survived by his many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents, John was predeceased by his son Lefleche Arsenault and brothers, Marc Arsenault, Edouard Arsenault and half siblings of the Geneau family. 

Arrangements have been entrusted to Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, NB (506-433-1176). In keeping with John’s wishes, all events will be held privately.
