My name is Pam, I live in California(don't fault me for that please ;-)). I met Kathy online while doing work with Holistic Natural health. I often called Kath to research new findings in health,but then began to become aquainted with her family as well. I knew Betty as Mom.Her warm round tones often filled the phone with pleasant greetings and updates on quilts she and Kathy were working on. I grew to know much about New Brunswick and the sweet wholesome life there,and sometimes challenges(trust me,we have them in California big time!)
I grew very close to Kathy and therefore her mom as we were bonded in Christ and in Prayer. When one is bonded in the Spirit of our Lord Jesus,we become family.
I will miss Betty,but believe the mentoring she has done with Kathy lives on in a wonderful human being and sister in Christ.
Thank you for letting me share,I pray for blessings and joy to fill all that enter Kath;s home,as it did with her mom.

Blessings to all. Whilst we only ever met Betty during online church, we were grateful for her investment of love and support through her daughters, and we truly felt part of the family, even across the ditch in New Zealand. I am sure there will be a confident assurance of a better outcome; (not free of sadness and tears), but with the knowledge of a triumphant reunion with our heavenly Father. Gods speed Betty and until we meet again, may your joy be fulfilled.

So sad to hear about Aunt Betty’s passing. I have many fond memories of spending time with you all during our visits to Apoqahui. She made us feel welcome and loved, and showed it mostly through her delicious cooking. She was a great support to me during my recovery, sending me letters and jokes and little treats. A wonderful Aunt who’ll be missed..

Our heartfelt sympathy to you Kathy, Debby, Terry and family! We know without a doubt she is with her Lord and Saviour Jesus!
We sure enjoyed visits as she was soo welcoming and always had a smile and hug and lots of stories and loved playing cards with Betty & Cathy! She will be missed but those of us who have placed their trust in Jesus, God’s only son who took our punishment for our sin by dying on that cross and rising from the dead on that 3rd day . We will see Betty again. One more thing I got to take her for a drive in our convertible a few summers ago!! What a joy as she would say so & so lived here and it brought back many sweet memories!
We will be in Ontario and not able to be there for her going home service but praying for you her family!! Hugs!
