There is a hole in our community, where once a dear man thrived. Blessing our hearts with his kindness, and a mirth that danced in his eyes.
With a hand extended in greeting to neighbors or newcomers alike, his true love was connecting with other people.
I'll miss my roadside chats with the dapper gentleman in jacket and hat; stopping by to discuss the weather, the state of our gardens, or a newly purchased tractor.
Carl's passion and zest for life were an inspiration. His tiny red car zipping away for a night of music and dancing, filled one with a quiet sense of pride.
Gentle, genuine, and generous of spirit, we say farewell to a beloved friend, as heaven welcomes a soul.

I would like to offer our sincere condolences to you Carl's family, at this time. We are so sorry for your loss. Carl was a dear sweet man, who was a joy to know. We always enjoyed our interactions with him. He was pleasant, and kindly, and seemed to enjoy a little humor now and then. He will be missed in our neighbourhood and at the music nights which he liked so much. For you his family, hold tight to those precious memories that you have of him. Dad, losing you is so hard on all us. The only saving grace is now you are no longer sick. But if I had known Monday night would be the last time I seen you, I don’t think I couldn’t have left u. I know I’m lucky I’ve had you for 62 years but that still doesn’t help my broken heart. I’m going to miss you forever until I see you again.
