So sorry to hear of Peter. We just heard the news this week. His friends at Irving Oil made a donation to Hospice in his memory. He was a good kind man.

I was very sorry and surprised to hear, just yesterday, of Peters' passing. My condolences to all his family. It was always a pleasure to have him join us at our Sussex badminton nights over the past years. His kind and generous nature came across so clearly in his sportsmanship and in his conversations.

We have loved Peter and his precious Sara for almost 40 years. From their courtship and their first date when his seat failed in her car to his hockey and their shared love of the gospel of Christ we have treasured their acquaintance. Now we pray for Sara and their daughters. How we will all miss him but none so much as Sara. Praying for every good outcome. And looking forward to telling wonderful stories for years to come about the amazing Peter and his family.

I met Peter shortly after getting Baptized into The Church Of Jesus Christ Of Latter-Day Saints.. in1985. He was such a good, kind soul. He was my then...'hometeacher' to which we would often go for rides on his motorbike.. for a lesson.. hehe. It was an exciting time to be a young single adult! There was always something happening in the Dartmouth Stake Centre! Peter was a stallward example to me.. I'm tearing up writing this.. I will miss his visits.. when he and Sara came to the Temple.. I'd see them usually at Church on Sunday! Sara and family I'm so sorry for your loss!

Sara, so very sad to hear of Peter's passing. He will be dearly missed by all those lucky enough to have known him. I valued the time back 20+ years ago when I worked with Peter in the Advertising Dept at Irving Oil. I remember how valuable he was looked at from everyone in the department for the work that he created. His passion for what he did was always evident. Peter was always a true gentleman who cared immensely about his family. Peter will live on in the memories that you have all made over the years. Take care.

Dear Sara:
We were so sorry to learn from Philip last evening about Peter's passing. It was not that long ago I saw on facebook about his diagnosis and the fund raiser. And it seems not long before that we saw you both at the temple. John spoke to Peter but I didn't have an opportunity to do so Things moved very quickly in such a short time for you. We are so very sorry. We are unable to come to the celebration of life but hope to watch online. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and Lindsay. (It was a long time ago when you and Peter lived near us in Dartmouth when Lindsay was born.) Sending love, John & Janet MacLennan

I'm so very saddened to hear of Peter's passing. He was a strong example of a follower of Christ, and such a kind, friendly, and interesting person. I pray for Sarah and family that they will somehow get used to his not being with them in person. I am certain he will still be lovingly watching over them until their joyful reunion. Hugs.

Anytime We lose a loved one. Whether family or friend or maybe family and friend, there are never words to express our true feelings of the condolences that are felt. I certainly do count myself very blessed to know Peter, to know that he was and continues to be a good man. A good friend, a good husband, a good father.
These titles that this man holds and will hold throughout eternity were manifest in the way he lived his life every day. Anyone who knows Peter knows that these things are true. As I read his obituary, I felt the spirit of God testify to me that he is in a good place with his Father in Heaven and his Savior Jesus Christ and because of these things, these truths that we both share, I know that someday he will be with his family forever. That is ultimately the greatest gift that God can bestow upon anyone...... To live with God himself and to live with our family. May God comfort and bless the Cyngot family.
