Obituary of Jim Wortman

It is with deep sadness that the family of James Edward Wortman announces his passing on Thursday, November 20, 2025, at his residence in Penobsquis, NB. Born in Sussex, NB on March 1, 1958, Jim was the son of the late Willaim and Mary (Richardson) Wortman.

Jim will be lovingly remembered by his brothers: Charlie Wortman (Linda) of Saint John, NB, David Wortman (Tammy) of Sussex, NB, and Sam Wortman of Sussex, NB. Jim is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents, Jim was predeceased by his sister, Helen Parlee.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, NB (506-433-1176). In keeping with Jim’s wishes, all arrangements will be held privately.
