Obituary of Hazel Dennison

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Hazel Phyllis Dennison, who passed away on December 13, 2025, at the Saint John Regional Hospital at the age of 68. Born on September 6, 1957, in Moncton, New Brunswick, Hazel was the daughter of the late Curtis and Vera (Hamilton) Dennison, and the beloved partner of the late Thomas Horne.

Hazel will live on in the hearts of her loving children: Tabatha Williams and her husband Bob of Red Deer, Alberta, Samantha Stewart of Apohaqui and Serena King and her husband Dave of Norton. She is also lovingly remembered by her brothers: Richard Dennison and his wife Barb of Sussex and Mack Dennison and his wife Mickie of Medicine Hat, Alberta; her sisters: Doris Dennison of Drury’s Cove, Florence Marshall of Sussex, Patricia Mercer of Sussex, Sharon Wilson and her husband Norman of Drury’s Cove, and Jean Lawson and her husband Tony of Sussex.

Hazel was a proud and devoted grandmother to Natasha, Mackayla, Sydney, Nickolas, Jenna, Lukas, and Nathaniel, and a cherished great-grandmother to Aubrey.

In addition to her parents and her husband, Hazel was predeceased by her brother, Curtis Dennison.

Arrangements are entrusted to the care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex (506-433-1176). At Hazel’s request, a graveside service will be held at Riverbank Cemetery at a later date. Donations and private condolences may be made through WallaceFuneralHome.com.
