Obituary of Janet Gregg

It is with heavy hearts that the family of Janet Lorraine Gregg announce her passing at the Saint John Regional Hospital on January 24, 2026, at the age of 57.

Born in Sussex, Janet was the daughter of the late Russell and Isabella (Cummings) Tabor, and the beloved wife of the late William Gregg, who passed away in 2016.

Janet’s girls were her purpose, and Nana’s girl Isabella was her joy. Family meant everything to Janet, and she thrived on her daily communication with those she loved. She had a great sense of humor, a warm heart, and a soft spot for every stray animal she crossed paths with — she never found one she didn’t want to feed.

Janet had many interests and quirks that made her unforgettable. She loved arts and crafts, genealogy, and driving around just to enjoy the day. She adored plants (but not flowers), had an undeniable obsession with Diet Coke, and always found joy in the simple things.

She will live on in the hearts of her loving daughters: Ashlee of Sussex and Jenna (Josh) of Mt. Pisgah; her cherished granddaughter, Isabella; her brothers: Bernie (Sandra) of Apohaqui, Bryant (Bonnie) of Norton, and Ed of Hillsdale; her sister-in-law, Joan Cogger (John); as well as several nieces and nephews.

Arrangements are entrusted to the care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex.  Visitation will be held from Wallace Community Chapel on Saturday, January 31, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. A celebration of Janet’s life will immediately follow.
