Obituary of Betty Mason

It is with heavy hearts that the family announce the passing of Betty Victoria Mason, who passed away at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital on February 8, 2026 at the age of 92.

Born in Mistassini Lac-St-Jean-Quest, Quebec on July 4, 1933; she was the daughter of the late Elmer and Dorothy (Taylor) Cole and the wife of the late Leslie Mason.

She will live on in the hearts of her daughter: Sandy Mason and Brent Budarick of Ontario; her grandchildren: Stephen Campbell, Michael Campbell, Nicholas Campbell and Jason Francis; her great grandchildren: Alyssa, Camden and Everley; her sister, Gladys Parisi of Oregon; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Along with her parents and her loving husband she is predeceased by her son, Eugene; her daughter, Dot; her brothers: Philip Cole, Bliss Cole, Rodney Cole and Frank Cole; her sisters: Beatrice Anderson, Isabel Masters, Verna Pearson, Shirley Hicks and Marjorie Arsenault.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176). A graveside service will take place at the St. Phillips Roman Catholic Cemetery, Millstream, NB in the spring.
