I am so saddened to hear of Aunt Ann’s passing! A wonderful aunt, sister mother! She always would welcome you with a big hug and a smile. Her quick wit and wonderful laugh would entertain all. I remember well the day that they brought Raymond home. Shelly and I were in the drive way at Grammies house and Ray was hiding behind her. She encouraged him to come play with us and we did so for several hours. From then on all the cousins looked out for Ray.
How lucky were we to have had such a wonderful extended family that always showed us love and grace. She will be dearly missed but know she is with all of the best of the Whitters’ clan now.
Godspeed Aunt Ann, you were loved and cherished.

Aunt Ann was a big part of our growing up. We spent many Sunday afternoons in the spring and summer in Fundy Park as well as many camping trips. She and Uncle Art were frequent visitors to our home on Magnolia Ave and we knew that the adults were having a good time when Ann's distinctive laugh would reach us upstairs even though we were supposed to be long asleep. Ann loved her son Raymond dearly, but she had more than enough love and concern left over for all her nieces and nephews. She was more than just an aunt, she was a second mother to so many of us and we are better people for her care. Ann also took a great interest in our children and even grandchildren, always asking us to bring them over for a visit, especially at Halloween. Aunt Ann always had the best treats. Ann was blessed with a long and healthy life until just recently and we are very thankful for that. She was very brave to the end and her Faith was unwavering. I know in my heart that Art and Raymond and all her Whitters family that have gone before her were there to welcome her home. We love you Aunt Ann and we know your are at peace.

Ann was such a welcoming and giving person who was a huge part of my life through the years along with my late husband David. to Ann , David was like a younger brother and although we lived in Ontario, we came to visit yearly I was accepted and warmly welcomed as family.
I can remember fondly driving down for camping trips to PEI and the Fundy Park chalets with campfires and lobster suppers as a must!!. such good times we all had. those were good times.
Ann and Art made a few trips up to Ontario, the first being our wedding. so excited they would be part of our special day along with Ed and Dorie Whitters it sure made it special!!
I will always cherish memories I have with Ann and hold them tightly as she was a strong resilient woman whom I loved and cared about deeply. Ann your home now , RIP
