Obituary of Kim Victor Rushton

It is with deep sadness that the family of Kim Victor Rushton announces his passing on Wednesday, February 18, 2026, at his residence in Newtown, NB. Born in Springhill, NS on May 19, 1958, Kim was a son of the late Carman and Margaret (Brown) Rushton.

Kim will be lovingly remembered by his loving wife, Michelle of Newtown, NB; his children: Claude Lachance (Nancy) of Sussex, NB, Steve Lachance (Crystal Parsons) of Barrie, ON, Dave Lachance of Barrie, ON, Marie Lachance of Ontario, and Christina Melanson (Kevin) of Sackville, NB; his grandchildren: Jacob, Tyler, Joel, Josiann, Alexander, Alisha, Cassidy, Brandon, Morgan, and Delan; his great grandchildren: Bentley, Aspen, Jake, Gina, and Lillian; his step-mother, Linda Rushton; his siblings: Bobby, Debbie (Wayne), Joanne, Judy (Tom), Jewel (Craig), Alice (Roger), Shirley (Chandler), Joanne (Blair), Faye (Glenn), Carmie (Charlie), Angela (Pat), and Trena (Larry). Kim is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents, Kim was predeceased by his brothers: Bill and Brian; and his sister, Diane.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, NB (506-433-1176). In keeping with Kim’s wishes, no services will be held.
