So saddened my friend Doris has passed, I will miss our late night chats about real estate, God, family and recipes. We shared many good times over the years with Doris and Art, always felt like coming home when we arrived at their home in Sussex. My desire was to be there today for her funeral but life made other plans. My thoughts and prayers go out to all of her family today.

Dear Annette - sending prayers and hugs to you , Blynn and families at this time of great loss. Doris's struggle must have been very hard in her last days here on earth - loving her family so much and not wanting to say goodbye and loving her Savior and wanting to go to her final place of rest . Her suffering is over and what joy she must be having being in a place where there is no more pain - you are left with only memories - keep them alive by sharing them often with family and friends. My condolences to family and friends of Doris's I met her years ago she was a very nice lady she ran the nursing home in Midland I worked there a short time. And she was also a distant relative of my mother's !

Our sympathies to Sister Doris’ entire family and friends. We were privileged to know Sister Doris when she allowed Amy, our daughter to board at her home. We immediately fell in love with her. She will be missed however she is rejoicing in her heavenly home.

Thoughts and prayers extended to Doris's family We have many good memories of Doris when she lived here in Smiths Creek in the old farm house, Especially the fresh made warm buscuits she would bring up and we would have a cup of tea with them.
