Obituary of Dawn Lord
It is with heavy hearts that the family of Dawn Elizabeth Lord announce her passing at the Saint John Regional Hospital on March 18, 2026.
Born in Halifax, Nova Scotia, on March 12, 1961, she was the daughter of the late Donald and Kathleen (Campbell) Clements and the wife of the late Stanley Lord who passed away in 2011.
She was an active and spirited woman from a young age, excelling in swimming and bowling, and always embracing life with energy. In quieter moments, she found joy in cross-stitching, traveling, and daily check-ins with family - a connection they will always cherish.
Hockey held a special place in her heart. With her father as a coach, she developed a deep understanding and love of the game, and she was a devoted fan of the Pittsburgh Penguins. One of her treasured memories was attending a game with her son.
She also took great pride in her time as a waitress at the Bluebird, where her warm, friendly nature shone. She truly loved connecting with people, and many will remember her for her genuine kindness and service with a smile.
Above all, she was a selfless and devoted woman who always placed others before herself, especially her family. She adored her grandchildren and loved her family deeply—they were the center of her world
Dawn will live on in the hearts of her loved ones, including her daughter, Alayna Keith of Upper Woodstock; her sons: Ryan (Tracy) Keith of Coaldale, Alberta, and Brendan (Erin) Keith of Victoria, British Columbia; her brother, Eric “Joey” Clements; her cherished grandchildren, Cullen, Brecken, Keefer, Finley, and Gage; her sister-in-law, Brenda Doak; her best friend, Heather McLellan whose unwavering care will never be forgotten; She will also be fondly remembered by a large extended family whose bonds could never be severed.
Along with her parents and her loving husband, Dawn was predeceased by her brother, Edward Clements.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, New Brunswick (506-433-1176). At Dawn’s request, no formal service will be held.
