Obituary of Fred Arsenault

It is with deep sadness that the family of Frederick Rodney Arsenault announces his passing on Tuesday, April 14, 2026, at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Brampton, Ontario on December 22, 1965, Fred was a son of the late Frederick and Marjorie (Cole) Arsenault.

Fred will be lovingly remembered by his daughter, Olivia Arsenault of Sussex Corner, NB; his son, Matthew Bunnell; his brother, Dwight Arsenault (Virginia) of Sussex Corner, NB; his sister, Patsy Shay (Mike) of Sussex Corner, NB and by his sister-in-law, Wendy Arsenault. Fred is also survived by his nephews, Jeremy, Cody, and Brady; his great nephews and nieces: Autumn, Brody Carhart, Noah Hedges, Alexi Carhart and Tiara Gallant Hatfield; and his former spouse, Sue Grant.

Besides his parents, Fred was predeceased by his brother: Bill Arsenault, and his sister, Diane Arsenault.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, NB (506-433-1176) from where celebration of Fred’s life will take place on Wednesday, April 22 at 4:00pm. A time of visitation will commence following the service until 7:00pm
