Obituary of Stoyan Gospodinov Kyrev

It is with deep sadness that the family of Stoyan Gospidinov “Steve” Kyrev announces his passing on Saturday, June 6, 2026, at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Bulgaria on October 3, 1940, Stoyan was a son of the late Gospodin and Mina (Tilu) Kyrev.

Stoyan was no stranger to hard work and worked tirelessly in the mining industry in various parts of the world. However, closest to his heart was his family, who were his entire world.

Stoyan will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 38 years, Dale (Smith) Kyrev; his children, Stephanie Kyrev (Gop Bartibogue) of Fredericton, NB and Stephen Kyrev of Sussex.

Stoyan was predeceased by his parents.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, NB (506-433-1176). All arrangements will be held privately.
