Obituary of Winston David Crawford

It is with deep sadness that the family of Winston David Crawford announces his passing on Sunday, August 2, 2026, at the V.A. Snow Centre in Hampton, NB. Born in Parlee Brook, NB on January 28, 1941, Winston was a son of the late Frank and Sylvia (McLean) Crawford.

Winston will be lovingly remembered by his children: Stephen Crawford (Dawn) of Cambridge, ON and Mark Crawford of Sussex, NB; his grandchildren: Alex (Kaitlin) and Katie (Kyle); his great grandchildren: Kayden, Kian, Kaleb, Silas, and Jonah; his brother, Richard Crawford (Marion) of Belleisle Creek, NB and his sisters-in-law: Helen Crawford and Marilyn Crawford. Winston is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents, Winston was predeceased by his daughter, Ann Marie; his sister, Edris Manning and husband, Robert; and his brothers, Robert Crawford and Frank Crawford, Wallace (infancy) and Gerald (infancy).

Among some of Winston's accomplishments, as a gifted musician, were his titles: Former Maritime Fiddle Champion and former Florida Senior Idol.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, NB (506-433-1176), from where a visitation will take place on Monday, August 10 from 2-4; 6-8pm. A funeral service will take place on Tuesday, August 11 at 11:00 am from Trinity Anglican Church (853 Main Street Sussex, New Brunswick).
