Bob was a not a man of many words who enjoyed the simpler things in life. A good dog, country music, and a cold beer surrounded by friends and family with Brenda by his side were his truest pleasures in life.
In his younger years he loved working in the woods, driving down an old dirt road, playing darts, horseshoes, and cards. He also was community minded as he was a founding volunteer member of the Hammond Jefferies Corner Fire Department. He also was often found at the local Hammond rink. Towards the end of his career, he had a decorated service for the Commissionaires where he especially enjoyed his time with the employees at the local potash mine.
Bob met the love of his life Brenda, and they had a proud 47 years together and that is where his legacy started. From there they had three girls Bob always longed for a boy, his family was complete when his son was born. All his children meant the world to him. From then grandchildren and great grandchildren came along and he enjoyed spoiling them.
