Obituary of Eulah Carrie Brown

It is with great sadness that the family of Eulah Carrie Brown announces her passing at Bobby’s Hospice in Saint John, NB on Saturday, September 26, 2026. Born in Seal Cove, Grand Manan Island on August 6, 1940, Eulah was a daughter of the late Cleveland and Ethelyn (Benson) Dakin.

Eulah will be lovingly remembered by her husband, Keith Brown; her children: Duane Brown (Tanya) of Penobsquis, NB and David Brown (Denise) of Waterford, NB; her grandchildren: Jensen and Alyssa; and her siblings: Diane Thomas (Ken) of Grand Manan, NB and Truman Dakin (Margaret) also of Grand Manan, NB. Eulah is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, Eulah was predeceased by her sister and her husband, Gerry and Allison Ingalls.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the compassionate care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex 506) 433-1176. The family will host a celebration of Eulah’s life at Encounter Church (Sussex Wesleyan - 280 Street George. St, Sussex, NB) on Saturday, October 17 from 1-3pm.

The family has asked that donations in memory of Eulah be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, or a charity of the donor’s choice. Personal condolences to the family and donations may be made through wallacefuneralhome.com.
