Obituary of Nancy Haire

With heavy hearts we announce the peaceful passing of Nancy Haire following several years of declining health on September 30, 2026, at the age of 81.

She was a daughter of Joseph and Nellie Casey from St. John’s, NL. Predeceased by her husband Neville (2011), her brothers: Joe (1998), Bob (2023) and her brothers-in-law, Ken (2004) and Frank (2016).

Nancy was most proud of her children: Janet Rossiter (André Bouchard), Michael, and her cherished grandchildren Brenden and Isaac Rossiter.

She truly enjoyed her long nursing career which started in Labrador City (1965), and moving to New Brunswick in 1983.

Those who knew her will remember how she loved being active and the outdoors...curling, skiing, walking the trails, the beach and time at the Civic Centre.

Nancy will be fondly remembered by her large family who connected every Saturday on Zoom... Pat (Nancy), Paul (Sandy), Sheila, Eleanor, Bernice, Mona, Christine, Mike, and sisters-in-law Marie and Yvonne.

Donations in memory of Nancy may be made to the Sussex Sharing Club or The Salvation Army.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, NB (506-433-1176). As per Nancy’s wishes there will be no visitation or service.
