Obituary of Shirley Mercer

It is with heavy hearts that the family of Shirley Marie Mercer announce her passing on April 5, 2024 at the age of 67.

Born on January 7, 1957; she was the daughter of the late Murray and Shirley (Gregg) Baskin and the wife of the late John Mercer who passed away in 2003.

She will live on in the hearts of her brothers: Harvey Baskin and his wife Linda of Plumweseep, Charles Baskin and his wife Kathy of PLumweseep, Harold Baskin and his wife Sheena of Smiths Creek and David Baskin and his wife Joy of Quispamsis; her sisters: Eva Douthwright and her husband Richard of Kenora, ON and Jean Baskin of Knightville; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Along with her parents and loving husband, she was predeceased by her brothers: Curtis, Chris and Dayle Baskin.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex (506-433-1176). A graveside service will be held at a later date.
