Kathleen DeVine Kathleen DeVine She often spoke of the many fond memories that she shared with her family of 14 brothers and sisters, as they grew and lived their life on the farm in Poodiac. Her passion was quilting. She made quilts for all her daughters, every grandchild and many more in between. Kathleen and her sisters spent endless hours crafting quilts to ensure every niece and nephews had a Mahoney Quilt to seal their marriage. She spent countless hours visiting relatives and learning more about the DeVine and the Mahoney family history over endless cups of tea. Many shared great joy in sharing stories about their descendants. One of Kathleen's greatest pleasures in life was the trips she took with her sisters. She traveled to Yellowknife twice with some of her sisters and twice with her husband. Her latest train trip was with three of her sisters to Brighton, Ontario to visit her sister Rita. Mom loved family gatherings, baking, berry picking, staying at the camp, quilting, discovering family history and going to church. Kathleen lived an active and fulfilling life until March 23, 2002.
