Because of her, our own small world will never be the same and all our hearts are filled with love when people speak her name. Vera Sadie Dickson of Lowell Street, Sussex leaves to cherish her memory and celebrate her life, her beloved husband of 57 years, James, her daughter Leona Brock of Edmonton Alberta, her son Jubal and his wife Gail of Val-des-Mont, Quebec, 3 Grandchildren Tracy, Christina, and Jason, 2 Great Grandchildren Kyleisha and Lyprincia, her god daughter, Elaine Moss, several nieces and nephews and the many friends whose heart she touched. Vera was born July 9, 1927 in Centre Napan, NB and was the daughter of the late Jubal and Irene (Blakely) Dickson. She passed away at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Friday March 8, 2002 at the age of 74. Her brothers Walter and Eldon predeceased her. Vera Dickson She was a retired bookkeeper for the Dominion Store in Sussex. She was a member of the UCW and of St. Paul's United Church. Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176), where the family will be receiving relatives and friends on Sunday 7-9 pm, and Monday 2-4,7-9 pm. The Funeral Service will be held from Wallace Memorial Chapel on Tuesday, March 12, 2002 at 2:00 pm, with Rev. Hubert Bartlett officiating. A private family Interment will take place at Evergreen Memorial Park Donations made to Heart Fund or to the memorial of the donor's choice would be appreciated by the family.
