Mr. Neil Wesley Friars was born in Sussex on March 5, 1971, he was the son of the late Richard Friars and Patricia (Loughery) Friars of Sussex. Neil is survived by his wife, Kim; his daughter, Jade; his step-children: Brandon and Jacqueline Hachey; two brothers: Brad of Saskatchewan and Josh of Sussex; his paternal grandmother, Elsie Friars of Sussex and his maternal grandmother, Faith Loughery of Southfield. Neil will be sadly missed by his family, friends and co-workers. Neil Wesley Friars of Edmonton passed away on January 15, 2002 at the age of 30. Arrangements are entrusted to the care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176), where visitation will be held on Sunday 2-4, 7-9. A Celebration of Neil's life will be held from St. Paul's United Church on Monday, January 21, 2002 at 2:00 pm. The interment will take place at Kirk Hill Cemetery.
