Obituary of Eileen McDonald
Mrs. Eileen McDonald of Kiwanis Nursing Home, Sussex, New Brunswick passed away at her residence on January 2, 2002. Eileen was born in Poodiac NB on September 6, 1933; she was the daughter of the late Cecil and Ethel (Matthews) Mallery. Eileen was the beloved wife of the late Roy McDonald who passed away in 1989. Eileen is survived by three daughters: Connie Moss and her husband Kevin of Penobsquis, Carol McDonald of Lower Millstream, Heather Smith and her husband Lloyd of Hampton; two sisters: Glenna Mallery and Jack Beers of Moncton, Shirley Goddard and her husband Reg of Penobsquis; six brothers: Gerald and his wife Gladys of New Line, Willard and his wife Norma of Sussex Corner, Alvin and his wife Alice of Dutch Valley, Reynold and his wife Mona of Apohaqui, Raymond and his wife Ann of Poodiac, Donald and his wife Joan of Cumberland Rd.; her brother-in-law Murray Proctor of Berwick; two sisters-in-law: Evelyn Mallery of Sussex, Theresa Brown of Hammonvale; her mother-in-law: Mona McDonald of Berwick; four grandchildren: Aaron, Ryan, Nathan and Ashley, as well as several nieces and nephews, and her friends and family at the Kiwanis Nursing Home. Eileen is predeceased by infant siblings: Vivian, James and Roy, as well as her brother Frederick Mallery and by her sister Elizabeth Proctor. She was a member of the Kiwanis Resident Council and MS Society. Arrangements are entrusted to the care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176) where the family will be receiving relatives and friends on Friday 1-3, 7-9. The Funeral Service will be held from Sussex Wesleyan Church on Saturday, January 5, 2002 at 2:00 pm with Rev. Stephen Bradley officiating. The interment will take place at Trinity Cemetery. Donations made to MS, Kiwanis Nursing Home, Sussex Wesleyan Church or to the memorial of the donor
