Mrs. Dorothy Leola Parlee of Belleisle Creek passed away at the Saint John Regional Hospital on November 05, 2011 at the age of 85. Born in Carsonville on May 31, 1926, Dorothy was the daughter of the late George and Isabelle (McKnight) Fawcett. Dorothy will be lovingly remembered by her husband Murray Parlee; her daughter, Bonnie Muir and her husband Terry; three sons: Rick Parlee and his wife Terry, Stephen Parlee and Randy Parlee all of Belleisle Creek; five grandchildren: Chris Muir (Courtney Akerley), Jacob, Cody, Kyle and Alyssa Parlee; her great granddaughter Maddy, her sister: Leota Sullivan and her husband Fred and her sister-in-law Florence Fawcett of Saint John as well as several nieces and nephews. Dorothy is predeceased by three brothers: Everett, Lee and Harold Fawcett and three sisters: Annie Burley, Flora Prosser and Stella Keirstead and by her granddaughter, Tara Muir. Arrangements are entrusted to the care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176), from where visitation will be held on Monday, November 7, 2011 from 6-8pm. A Celebration of Dorothy's life will be held from Wallace Community Chapel on Tuesday, November 8, 2011 at 11:00am with Pastor Tim MacDonald officiating. Interment will be held at Sacred Heart RC Cemetery. Donations in memory of Dorothy may be made to a charity of your choice.
