MR. RAYMOND EDWARD SHERWOOD, of Hillsdale, NB passed away at Saint John Regional Hospital on September 2, 2001. Born in Jeffries Corner, NB on August 16, 1931, he was the son of the late Harold and Mary Ellen (Hicks) Sherwood. Raymond is survived by his wife Margaret (McMackin) Sherwood, 2 sisters, Ardith Robertson of Saint John and Beulah Capson of Saint John, 4 brothers, Ken and his wife Bernadean of Jeffries Corner, Sterling of Sussex, Myles of Hamilton, Ontario and Reginald and his wife Mary of Hamilton, Ontario, several nieces and nephews. Raymond was predeceased by his sister, Mary, and brothers Douglas, Ivan and Harris. Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176), the family will be receiving relatives and friends on Tuesday 2-4, 7-9 at Wallace Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be held from Wallace Memorial Chapel on Wednesday, September 5, 2001 at 2:00 p.m., with Rev. Gordon Walker officiating. Interment at Trinity Cemetery. The Royal Canadian Legion Branch # 20 will hold a tribute on Tuesday evening at 6:45. Donations made to Heart & Stroke Foundation or the memorial of the donors choice would be appreciated by the family.
