Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Jenkins, of Codys, NB passed away at Bellisle Creek Manor on August 25, 2001. Born in Saint John, NB on November 22, 1914, she was the daughter of the late John and Emma Farnsworth (Saunders). Mary was the beloved wife of the Late Donald Jenkins who passed away in 1973. She is survived by her daughter, Grace Morgan of St. Catherines, Ont., 2 sons, Gordon and his wife Flora of Cambridge Narrows and David and his wife Artice of Fredericton, her brother George Saunders of Saint John, 2 sisters, Marion Burns and June Saunders both of Saint John, 9 Grandchildren, 14 great grand children, nieces and nephews. Mary was predeceased by 3 brothers Howard, Edward, and John and by 2 sisters Dorothy and Helen. She was a member of the Cody United Baptist Church and the Gloria Dae Singers. Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176), the family will be receiving relatives and friends on Saturday 7-9 Sunday 2-4,7-9. Funeral Service will be held from Cody's United Baptist on Monday, August 27, 2001 at 2 :00 pm, with Rev. Sig Seidel officiating. Interment at Coles Island Cemetery Donations made to Alzheimer Society or to the memorial of the donors choice would be appreciated by the family.
