Obituary of Jennie Marr
Jennie Louise Marr was born in Fairfield, Maine, on August 24, 1926; she was the daughter of the late Oscar Samuel Hartley and Muriel Estella (Everett) Hartley.
Before her retirement Jennie worked at Keddy's Hotel and the Holiday Inn in Saint John and later as a private homecare worker. Jennie was an avid bingo player; she enjoyed dancing and country and western music. She didn't travel much but she did go to Nashville to see some of her favorite performers and went out west a few times to visit her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Jennie is survived by her five daughters: Marie Jones of Saint John, Gail Marr of Saint John, Edie LePage and her husband Rick of Kars, Mary Marr of Youngs Cove and Alice Roshinsky and her husband Keith of Kelowna, BC; five sons: Jack and his wife Anne of Hampstead, Robert of Sussex, Larry of Midland, Tony and his wife Marlene of Midland and Ronald of Youngs Cove; grandchildren: Bryon Jones (Heather Grant), Bruce Jones (Lynn), Sherri Wright, Shelly Jones, Brian Marr (Cheryl), Wendy Marr, Milton Greer (Lisa), Alysha LePage, Erick LePage, Melissa Marr (Mark Gallant), Jamie Marr (Julie), Desmond Roshinsky, Zachary Roshinsky, Amy Cassidy (Jonathon), Laurie Marr and Christopher Marr (Tara); her step granddaughter Danielle Lacelle; great grandchildren: Jonathon, Brittany and Jourdan Jones, Kristyn Jones-Wright (Justin Verved) and Courtney Jones-Wright, Dustin, Lacy and Shayne Jones-McKnight, Breanna, Erika, Justine Marr, Quinn, Connor, Chloe Greer, Shianne and Bradley Marr; her step great grandson Hendrix; great great grandchildren: Kaley Grace, Mackenzie and Riley; her brother Medley Hartley Carlingford, NB, as well as several nieces and nephews and her faithful friend Milo.
Jennie is predeceased by two infant children Gary and Gloria, her sister Marie, her brother Harold Hartley, her son-in-law Bruce Jones and the father of her children Wendell C. Marr who passed away in 2003.

Visitation will be held from Brunswick Funeral Home on Wednesday November 9th at 1:00pm, followed by a graveside service at Trinity Anglican Cemetery at 2:00 pm.
Donations to The Peoples Serenity Garden will place a personalized brick on Memory Lane in her name.
