Obituary of Burton A. Patterson
Burton born on April 7, 1924 and was the son of the late William and Nina (Church) Patterson and husband of Olive (Spencer).
Burton was born and brought up in Anagance Ridge. He joined the army while still a teenager to serve his country. Once out of the army he made his way to Mississauga, ON where he worked for the Ontario Provincial Government in the Liquor Licensing Department.
He met, the love of his life, Olive, at the laundromat and they never looked back. They were married in May of 1996 and settled into their new life. Eventually, after a couple of moves, they settled back into Sussex as Burton wanted to be close to home. He was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Sussex Branch #20.
Burton will be lovingly remembered by his beloved wife Olive and her family.
Mr. Burton A. Patterson of Sussex, NB passed away on November 28, 2012 at the Sussex Health Center at the age of 88. He was the last surviving member of his family.
As per Burton's wishes, there will be no visitation or service. May he rest in peace.
