Philip Edward DeLong was born on September 19, 1918 and was the son of the late Edred and Amy (Huggard) DeLong. Philip will be lovingly remembered by his wife Verna (Belding); his children: Dale Folkins and Maureen McMurray of South Branch, Karen Folkins and Wayne Simpson of Sussex, Pam Folkins and Jeff Snider of Wards Creek, Joe Folkins and his wife Susan of Quesnel, BC; his sister in law Velma DeLong; grandchildren: Christian, Tara, Lacey, Patrick, Ben, Jamie and Katelyn; great grandchildren: Katrina, Ava, Aaron, Mia and Claire as well as nieces and nephews: Donna, Debbie, David, Jeffrey and Gina. Mr. Philip Edward DeLong of South Branch passed away on December 18, 2012 at the age of 94. He was predeceased by his son Rodney in 1969 and his daughter Faye in 1999 as well as his brother Harry.
