Elmer was born in Lynn, Massachusetts, USA on January 15, 1917. He was the son of the late Percy and Edith (Thom) Pollock and the husband of the late Evelyn (McKnight) Pollock, who passed away in 1996. Elmer served WWII 23rd Field Corp. Royal Canadian Engineers and Canadian Provost Corp. and was a retired dairy farmer. Elmer is survived by his grandson, Peter Fisher of Moncton, his brother Gordon of Barnesville as well as several nieces and nephews. Mr. Elmer Lawrence Pollock of Apohaqui passed away at the Dr. Georges Dumont Hospital, Moncton on December 26, 2012 at the age of 95. He was also predeceased by his daughter Shirley Fisher in 1996 and by his son-in-law, David Fisher in 2009. A service celebrating Elmer's life will be held at Riverbank Cemetery, Norton in the spring.
