Obituary of Murray Green

Murray Green was born on April 1, 1919. He was the son of the late Howard and Edith (Stackhouse) Green and was the husband of the late Olive (Kincade) Green who passed away in 2012. Murray is survived by his daughter, Blanche Hendy and her husband Gordon of Windsor, NS; his sons: Jim of Apohaqui and Ken and his wife Mariette of Apohaqui; his brother, Arthur and his wife Irene of Scotch Settlement; his sisters: Greta Shaw and her husband Ed of Sussex and Pauline Beers of Sussex; six grandchildren: Robert (Donna), Mark (Carol), Stacy, Judy, Ryan and Randy; three great grandchildren, Rylie, Jensen and Kendra; as well as several nieces and nephews. Mr. G. Murray Green of Apohaqui passed away on February 10, 2013 at the age of 93. Murray was predeceased by his daughter, Edith; his son Bruce; seven brothers, Douglas, Roy, Blake, Jack, Lloyd, Albert and Ora; three sisters, Ruby Smith, Laura Brown and Evelyn Sharp and his daughter-in-law Linda Green. Arrangements have been entrusted to the compassioante care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176) on Tuesday, February 12 from 1-3 and 6-8pm. The Sussex Royal Canadian Legion Branch #20 will hold a legion tribute at 5:45pm prior to the evening visitation. A service celebrating Murray's life will be held from Wallace Memorial Chapel on Wednesday, February 13, 2013 at 11:00 am.
