Rilla was born on November 20, 1919. She was the daughter of the late Ernest and Alphia (Keith) Alward and the wife of the late Robert Lisson, who passed away in 1995. Rilla is survived by her daughter, Kathryn Winchester and her husband Budd of Kentville, NS; her two sons: James and his wife Sharon of Darmouth, NS and Richard and his wife Wendy of Halifax, NS; her grandchildren: Trent Winchester (Donna), Krista Parent (Gerry) and Gillian Lisson (Jeff Hoyt); her two great grandchildren: Katie and Maggie Parent; her sister, Margaret Sprague of Ontario as well as several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Rilla Louise Lisson of Sussex, passed away at the Sussex Health Centre on February 14, 2013 at the age of 93. She was predeceased by several brothers and sisters. A service celebrating Rilla's life will be held from Wallace Community Chapel on Wednesday, February 20, 2013 at 11:00am.
