To my eyes; Ron Darling and his, forever love Pat, were always at their happiest when they were sharing their time somewhere in their woodlot.
I was frequently their companion; especially in some of their later years when getting out the firewood was increasingly more difficult task.
I will remember them both as 'good to the core' people!

Please accept my condolences. Some of my nicest memories of my time in Sussex were sitting at the kitchen table with Ron and Pat over a coffee and a date square. Ron was always so kind, and good for a giggle. He was a good man.
