Obituary of Jean Sparks
It is with great sadness that the family of Jean Sparks of Stewarton NB, wife of Warrant Officer (retd) Terry Sparks succumbed to her battle with cancer on May 22, 2013. She was born on Dec 5th, 1940 in Winnipeg MB and was the daughter of the late William and Innes Workman.
Jean will live on in the hearts of her loving husband Terry Sparks of 49 years; her daughter Cindy McCreadie and her husband Ken of Stewarton; her son Terry Jr and his wife Jennifer of Carleton Place ON; five grandchildren, who brought her much joy and laughter to life, Sharelle (Michael) Romero of North Port FL, Patrick and Anthony Sparks of Carleton Place ON and Rebekah and Joshua McCreadie of Stewarton NB; her brothers: Murray and his wife Mary Lou Workman of Brighton ON, and William and his wife Elaine Workman of Brighton ON; her sisters: Patricia Rogers of Toronto ON, and Sheila and her husband Bert Stillwell of Manilla, ON; along with many nieces and nephews.
Jeam was predeceased by her oldest sister, Sharon Campbell (Gerald) of Trenton ON.
The family would like to extend our heartfelt appreciation to Dr. Dolan and his caring staff at the Saint John Leukemia research group; including Kathy Heath, Shelly Allward, Pam McDougall, Dr. Comeau, Rene Alemon and in particular, Kathy Heath who was always there for us during this most difficult time. The family would also like to thank the caring nurses and staff at the Sussex Health Centre palliative care unit for their assistance during Jean's stay there and to Dr. Wildish and Dr. O'Neil, your assistance will not be forgotten.
