Obituary of Phyllis Proctor

Mrs. Phyllis E. (Morrell) Proctor was born in Big Salmon River on May 19, 1927. She was the daughter of the late Robert and Effie (Anderson) McFarlane and was the wife of the late Arthur Proctor. Phyllis enjoyed making quilts and made sure that everyone in the family received one and sometimes even two. She also loved to knit and do puzzles. In the spring, you could find Phyllis in the flower garden or clipping grass from the walkway with a pair of scissors. She loved to travel, whether it was driving her car; which she did until February of this year or flying out west to see her sons and their families. Family and friends were very important to Phyllis and she will be truly missed. Phyllis will be lovingly remembered by her daughter, Marie Fanjoy and her husband Murray of Roachville Heights; her five sons: Don and his wife Joanne of Williams Lake, BC, Ron and his wife Nancy of Dutch Valley, Cedric and his wife Marie of Williams Lake, BC, Doug and his wife Aileen of Penhold, AB and Gary and his wife Jan of AB; her brother, Edward and his wife Ruby of Waterford; her sister, Anne E. Thorne of Moncton; several grandchildren, great grandchildren, and one great great grandson; as well as nieces and nephews. Phyllis was predeceased by her first husband, Arthur A. Proctor and her second husband Bruce A. Morrell; her step-mother, Mary K. (Hunter) McFarlane; her daughter, Verna; a great granddaughter, Jinnie; five brothers: Donald, Raymond, Gordon, Nelson and Lloyd and two sisters: Edris and Linda. Mrs. Phyllis E. (Morrell) Proctor of Plumweseep passed away on July 24, 2012 at the age of 85. Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176), where visitation will be held on Thursday, July 26th from 6-9pm. A Celebration of Phyllis's life will be held from Wallace Community Chapel on Friday, July 27, 2012 at 11:00am. The interment will take place at Trinity Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy donations made to the memorial of the donor's choice would be appreciated by the family. www.wallacefuneralhome.com
